"Smooth, sweet, zero bitterness. I drink it black now and I never did before."
Super Patriot Coffee
The Super
PatriotTop 1% Specialty Grade
We bought the last 200 lbs of this single micro lot from Nariño, Colombia, air-roasted in small craft batches and named after the backcountry STOL aircraft it's built to match. No bitterness. No shortcuts. Just guts and grind.
Bright, clean, never bitter
These are tasting notes, not flavorings. Nothing is added to this coffee. The peach, mango, and caramel are subtle hints that come from the bean itself, the elevation it was grown at, and the roast profile. Most coffee drinkers will simply taste a smooth, sweet cup with no bitterness. Trained palates pick out the rest.
Peach
Subtle LeadA faint stone-fruit brightness on the front of the palate. Not sweet like syrup, just a clean lift.
Mango
HintA barely-there tropical roundness that fills out the mid-cup. You may not catch it on first sip.
Caramel
BodyThe natural sweetness from the roast. Not added sugar. Reads as smooth, not sweet.
Syrupy Body
MouthfeelThe texture, not a flavor. A full, round mouthfeel that lingers clean with no bitter aftertaste.

How to fly it
Bright coffee rewards precision. Here's the readout to get the most out of every cup.
The Recipe That Wakes The FleetThe Super Patriot Pour Over
- 22 g of Super Patriot at medium grind, fresh for pour over.
- Bloom with 50 g of 200°F water. Wait 30 seconds for the gases to release.
- Slow spiral pour to 350 g total. Keep the bed flat.
- Total brew time should land around 3:30 to 4:00. Drink it black.
Built like the aircraft it's named for
Don Wade built his reputation in Alabama the way you build anything worth keeping: obsessive attention to detail, no shortcuts, and a refusal to call something finished until it's actually right. He and his brother Ron spent two years in near-secrecy designing Patriot Aircraft USA's flagship backcountry STOL machine: the Super Patriot.
We named this coffee after it because the parallels are hard to ignore. A micro lot this small leaves no room for error, so we treat every pound like it matters. Because it does.

Super Patriot, answered
Is Super Patriot a flavored coffee?
No. Nothing is added to this coffee. The peach, mango, and caramel listed are tasting notes, the natural hints in the bean itself that come from the elevation, the washed process, and the air-roast profile. They are subtle. Most drinkers will simply taste a smooth, sweet cup with no bitterness. The flavor notes are not pronounced or overbearing.
What does Super Patriot taste like?
Smooth, sweet, and never bitter. The dominant impression is a clean, balanced cup. Underneath, there are faint hints of peach and mango on the front, a caramel sweetness in the body, and a syrupy mouthfeel on the finish. None of these are loud. They are the kind of notes a trained palate notices and a casual drinker just feels as "really good coffee."
What grind should I order?
Whole Bean is the freshest option if you have a grinder. Otherwise: Espresso (fine), AeroPress or Keurig (medium-fine), Auto Drip or Pour Over (medium), Chemex or Cold Brew (medium-coarse), French Press (coarse).
Where does the coffee come from?
Nariño, Colombia. Grown at 1,800 to 2,200 meters of elevation. 100% Arabica, washed process, 200 lb single micro lot.
How is Super Patriot roasted?
Air-roasted in small craft batches in Rockwall, Texas. Air roasting uses convection heat instead of conduction, which gives a cleaner cup with no scorched or burnt notes.
How do I brew it?
Use a 1:16 ratio for drip and pour over (about 22 g coffee to 350 g water). For a 12 oz cup that is roughly 2 tablespoons of grounds. Brew water at 200°F.
What syrups pair best?
Try it with Pecan Bliss for a dessert-level pecan-honey combo, or Vanilla Bomb to amplify the caramel finish.
Why is it called Super Patriot?
It's named after the Patriot Aircraft USA Super Patriot, a backcountry STOL airplane built in Alabama by Don and Ron Wade. We named this coffee after it because both are built with the same obsessive attention to detail and refusal to cut corners.
