Wheels up at sunrise, a thermos riding shotgun, and the crest on your chest tells everyone on the flight line whose coffee is in it.

This is a lightweight 4.3 oz crew neck in soft jersey knit from 60% combed ring-spun cotton and 40% polyester. Combed ring-spun means the short, scratchy fibers are brushed out of the cotton before it's spun, so the yarn comes out smoother and stronger, and the shirt feels broken in from the first wear. The polyester helps it hold its shape and color wash after wash. It's a modern fitted cut, side-seamed so it hangs straight instead of twisting, with taped shoulders and a ribbed collar that keeps its shape.

Our propeller crest rides on the left chest. A full-size crest spans the upper back. The right sleeve carries the salute: We Salute Our Veterans, Thank You For Your Service.

Look close and the flag on that sleeve runs stars-forward. That's on purpose. On a military uniform, the flag on the right shoulder is reversed so the stars lead, as if the flag is flying in the wind while the wearer moves forward.

Measured with the shirt laid flat. Body length runs from the high point of the shoulder to the hem. Chest width is measured 1 in below the armhole, side to side, so double it for the full chest. Easiest way to pick: lay a tee you love flat, measure it the same way, and match the numbers.

How does the tee fit?
A modern fitted cut: close through the chest and shoulders without clinging. A medium measures 20.5 in across the chest laid flat, about 41 in around, and 29 in from the shoulder to the hem. Like a looser, classic fit? Size up one.

What is it made of?
4.3 oz jersey knit: 60% combed ring-spun cotton for softness and 40% polyester for shape and color that last. Light enough for a Texas summer, soft enough to live in.

Will it shrink?
The polyester in the fabric helps it hold its size. Wash cold and dry low to keep it true to size and keep the prints sharp.

Why does the flag on the sleeve look backwards?
It's reversed on purpose. On a military uniform the flag on the right shoulder faces stars-forward, as if it's flying in the wind while the wearer moves forward. We printed it the same way.
