Every squadron flies its own colors. These are ours, on a varsity-cut heavyweight zip.

It's 10 oz three-end fleece, knit from three yarns at once: a smooth face yarn, a binder, and a heavier back yarn that gets brushed into fleece. That's why it feels dense and holds its shape after a season of wear. The body and sleeves come in contrasting colors with striped rib at the cuffs and waistband, the way a squadron jacket should look.

Our propeller crest rides on the left chest, a full-size crest spans the upper back, and the right sleeve carries the salute: We Salute Our Veterans, Thank You For Your Service.

The flag on that sleeve runs stars-forward on purpose. On a military uniform the flag on the right shoulder is reversed so the stars lead, as if it's flying in the wind while the wearer moves forward.

Measured laid flat. Body length runs from the high point of the shoulder to the hem. Chest width is measured 1 in below the armhole, side to side, so double it for the full chest. Easiest way to pick: lay a favorite hoodie flat, measure it the same way, and match the numbers.

A slim unisex fit, close through the body. A medium measures 22 in across the chest laid flat and 28 in long. Want room to layer? Size up one.
